Aluminium 6060 T5, T6, T4 – Material 3.3206 – AlMgSi0.5 (AlMgSi)
Aluminum 6060 (3.3206) is a typical extruded Al-Mg-Si aluminum alloy, slightly weaker than AA6063, suitable for applications without special strength requirements and can produce finished profiles with very good surface quality. Aluminium 6060 has good corrosion resistance, moderate strength and good weldability and is commonly used in fabricated structures. Temper design of the aluminium mainly include 6060-T5, T6, T66, T4, etc.
Aluminum Alloy 6060 is registered in 1972 by European Aluminium Association (EAA), which is widely used in Europe (especially Germany), but less so in the United States (some ASTM specifications for aluminum alloys do not even list this alloy).
