35CrMo Steel
35CrMo steel is a Chinese alloy steel for engineering purpose, it has high durability and creep strength at high temperature, and low temperature impact toughness is good. The working temperature is up to 500 °C, the low temperature can be -100 °C, and has high static strength and high fatigue strength, good hardenability, no tendency to overheat, small quenching deformation, and moderate machinability. However, this material has a first type of temper brittleness, and the weldability is not good. It needs to be preheated to 150-400 ° C before welding, and heat treatment is needed after welding to eliminate stress. Generally used after quenching and tempering treatment.
Applications of 35CrMo Alloy Steel
35CrMo alloy steel can be used to manufacture major parts in various machines that withstand impact, bending and high loads, such as rolling mill gears, crankshafts, connecting rods, fasteners, automotive engine spindles, axles, engine transmission parts, large motor shafts, bolts for boilers with operating temperatures below 400 °C, nuts below 510 °C, high pressure seamless thick-walled conduits for chemical machinery (450-500 ° C, non-corrosive media).
